Environmental crimes
in Colombia.

Throughout the entire period of Colombia's history, the internal conflict has taken a great role. Without a shadow of a doubt, the most affected have been the rural population and the local ecosystems. On the one hand, we have the locals who have been intimidated or murdered, if they did not have the same luck as the others, for a long time that's been their reality, as they have gotten involved without wanting to be but for living there and make their lands respected from those who only wanted to take advantage of an illegal business. On the other side we have the lands and ecosystems that have been exploited by organized groups controlled or supported by political forces and politicians with power and linked to paramilitary groups. In this time and in the years to come, climate change is a priority since our planet must be cared for by us in different ways and the best action is to take care of those natural places that sustain us and clean the air. Colombia is a blessed territory where you can find kilometers of land covered by forests and unique plants that harbor life in its splendor, housing many unique animal species and that are currently threatened by problems related to deforestation, illegal agriculture, but above all all because of illegal mining.
